Eagle Scout Advancement

These people do several jobs. They have to do with the Eagle projects. None of them are very time consuming and the best part is you get to work with the best scouts the program can produce.  Here are the tasks:

Eagle Scout Project District Approval

Before an Eagle scout candidate starts on his project it needs to be approved by the Camelback district. This responsibility includes making sure the project meets all the national criteria, counseling the scout on properly running a project and the rest of the Eagle scout process. You will need to attend 3 round tables and go through this process with the Advancement Chairman before you do it on your own.

Eagle Scout Application approval

This going over the Scout application paperwork when he applies to have his Eagle Scout board of Review. This is only done at Round table. You need to go through for 6 Round tables. It will help you understand the project approval process better.

Eagle Scout Board of Review Host / District Reviewer

This is the most fun. You are the emcee at the Eagle Scout court of board of review or you sit on Eagle Scout’s board of reviews.  This is the end of the district eagle scout process. You should do each role once a year.
