Central District is hosting a tri-district, halloween monster themed, Camporee or Vamporee at Camp Geronimo, October 26, 27 and 28.  In addition to enjoying Camp Geronimo for a cool October weekend after the crowds have gone home, Saturday the 27th will be stuffed like a pumpkin as scouts get geared up for halloween and show off their scouting skills in fire building, cooking, first aid, knots and shooting competitions.  Plus there will be a broken bridge team building event that should be loads of fun while displaying your ingenuity and teamwork!  A “Cast Iron Chef” dutch oven contest will take place along with a flag retirement ceremony and a pumpkin carving contest. Saturday will wind down with an awesome camp fire and awards ceremony including multi colored flames, skits and maybe even a spooky story!
